Hardware Maintenance

PC & laptop buildouts, repairs, and upgrades — done by people who actually do this every day.

Most break-fix shops swap parts until the symptom goes away. We diagnose first, document the root cause, and only then recommend a fix that lasts. From a single misbehaving workstation to a fleet rollout, we handle the hardware so you can get back to work.

What's included

  • Custom PC buildouts — workstations, render machines, edit bays, simulation rigs, and mining-grade cooling builds — spec'd to your workload, not a vendor's tier sheet
  • Laptop diagnostics & repair — board-level work, charging-circuit fixes, hinge and chassis repair, screen replacement, keyboard and battery swaps
  • Upgrades — SSD/NVMe migration, RAM expansion, GPU upgrades, CPU swaps where supported, BIOS/firmware updates, and clean Windows / Linux reinstalls with data preservation
  • Thermal service — repaste, repad, fan/heatsink replacement, and dust-out for systems that thermal-throttle under load
  • Fleet refresh — image, deploy, label, and inventory new machines; retire old ones into our ITAD process with proper data destruction
  • Same-day diagnostics for businesses in Harrisburg and surrounding Dauphin / Cumberland / York counties; mail-in service for everywhere else

Platforms we service

  • Desktops — Dell, HP, Lenovo, Intel NUC, custom-built towers (Intel & AMD)
  • Laptops — ThinkPad, Latitude, EliteBook, XPS, Surface, MacBook (Intel & Apple Silicon)
  • Workstations — Dell Precision, HP Z, Lenovo ThinkStation, custom render boxes
  • Servers — Dell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant, Supermicro — rack and tower
  • Specialty rigs — mining hardware, edit suites, ML training boxes, GPU compute

How a typical repair goes

  1. Intake & diagnostic — we replicate the symptom, run hardware diagnostics, and write up what we found (not just "your motherboard is bad")
  2. Quote — flat-rate or time-and-materials, your choice, with the diagnostic fee credited toward the repair
  3. Repair & burn-in — fix, then stress-test for 24+ hours before returning the machine
  4. Report — written summary of what was wrong, what was done, and what to watch for

Buildouts

If you're spec'ing a new machine, talk to us before you buy. We've built everything from quiet office PCs to 8-GPU render boxes and know which components actually deliver the price-performance you're being sold. Spec advice is free; if you'd rather have us build, deliver, and image it, we do that too.
